As a proud member of the Australian Writers Guild, I took part in their biennial National Screenwriters Conference held on Victoria’s beautiful Mornington Peninsular as a mentor in their micro-mentorship program. The conference brings together writers from around the country and around the world to share ideas in a series of panel discussions, master-classes, micro-mentorships and networking opportunities. Guest speakers included: the showrunner of NCIS, Shane Brennan; Nicholas Meyer (STAR TREK II, IV AND VI), Jimmy McGovern (THE STREETS) and David Williamson AO (BALIBO, GALLIPOLI).
